SOLVE A REAL PROBLEM AND CHANGE THE WORLD.
YES, IT TAKES ONLY 2 DAYS TO CHANGE THE WORLD FOR GOOD.
We use Artificial Intelligence all day, every day. Siri, Alexa, and Cortana are obvious examples of artificial intelligence, but AI is actually all around us. It can be found in vacuum cleaners, cars, lawnmowers, video games, Hollywood special effects etc…But how does AI really work and WHY should it matter?
Join our unique bootcamp and develop your own entrepreneurial project surrounded by the best of the Tech sphere!
[DESIGN THINKERS, TECH MENTORS AND ENTREPRENEURS – PLEASE REGISTER TOO!! We need you to help inspire the girls]
About Girls in AI Hackathons
Women represent 47% of the UK workforce, but only 17% of the tech sector, with research suggesting something similar for AI professions across the globe. With AI technologies increasingly ubiquitous, and the demand for machine learning and data science skills fast increasing, this imbalance will have worrying consequences.
About Teens In AI
We have run 5 pilot Girls in AI Hackathons in partnership with Mastercard, Brighterion and Microsoft in London, San Francisco, New York and Seattle inspiring over 300 girls into artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, AI Ethics and human-centred AI.
Teens In AI exists to increase diversity and inclusion in artificial intelligence. We aim to democratise AI and create opportunities for underrepresented talent through a combination of expert mentoring, talks, workshops, hackathons, accelerators, company tours and networking opportunities that give young people aged 12-18 early exposure to AI for social good. Our vision is for AI to be developed by a diverse group of thinkers and doers advancing AI for humanity’s benefit. For more info go to www.teensinai.com
I Wish to Apply as Mentor
